Today’s pictures are more marching band stuff. I got quite a few nice shots from this day of shooting. I’m not sure what school this band is from. I’m not going for historical accuracy here. I assume they are from Georgia, as the competition was in Georgia. I’m not even going to try to look up the venue or date. I don’t really care and I doubt anyone else will either. But I do like these shots a good bit, they have a Sargent Pepper thing going on thematically. I do love the Beatles.
I really love the colors of their uniforms. If you look closely at the pep talk you can see the paisley designs in the jackets, pretty cool. All that red really pops on these photos. These are a sharp set of band pics.
I’m also including a school bus, because of course I am. It was in the same chronological vicinity as the Sgt. Pepper pics, as was the nice fluffy could. I guess you could say I have my head in the clouds. Like the good old disc jockey Casey Kasem used to say on his weekly top 40 radio show, keep you head in the stars and your feet on the ground. I know having ones head in the clouds and having ones head in the stars is technically different, but it seems to me they both mean pretty much the same thing, keep dreaming. Oh the top 40 radio show, what a long time ago and a different world that was.
Today it’s just pictures. I’m sick of politics. It’s not like I can do much about any of it anyway. I don’t feel like talking about tech. While I’ve done a lot of work the last few days I’m in no mood to dissect it. The long and the short of it is, I’ve continued to do a lot to fix the things I thought I’d fixed, but now I think it’s actually fixed. Once time bears that out I may revisit what has been done. I actually learned quite a bit. Once again Chat GPT AI is a really nice tool. I’m happy to know I need not talk to tech support again unless there is something that only they can achieve technically.
