High Museum of Art: Part 6

Essay, High Museum, Giants collection

These new addition include this very interesting essay. It is probably stretches the comprehension of most readers. I myself had to study it pretty closely to fully appreciate what it was saying. It is pretty heavy and dense with language not easily digested. But it all makes sense if you want to understand it enough. You just have to think about it more than most people are willing to think. I suppose there are probably a few odd people out there that grasp the content on the first pass, but I can’t imagine there any too many.

The message is probably seen as pretty controversial and divisive, as are the subjects it describes, to the average person. The average person will probably not even be able to understand what is being said even if they are able to understand the literal language being used. Whoever wrote this, I’m afraid I don’t have an attribution, was thinking on an elevated level.

There are three distinctive parts, and was (for me anyways) easier to digest when concentrating on each part individually. They all tie into each other though, and are well organized and combined for public display.

These two painting are from the Giants collection. I’m not sure who to attribute here either, but wanted to share some interesting and thought provoking art.

I expect I’ll revisit this post later today with some more thoughts. I however must bounce.
