It’s been the last couple weeks of school and the bus has been a little extra. The children are all wound up at the notion of freedom. It’s good they are. Most of them will never have so much time off again if they become “productive” citizens. I don’t think that is something I ever considered until it was almost time to graduate high school. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about it since then, probably to my detriment.

While on my semi-daily layover in the mornings I’ve started taking a little walk to exercise my body and mind. I’m a little sad I never thought about doing this sooner. It’s a nice way to spend a ew minutes I would otherwise just be sitting and waiting, wasting time on my phone.

I have been trying to do a little writing during my layovers, if I can think of something to write about. Coming up with ideas to write about when you don’t have a specific direction is challenging. I really want to keep this a politics free zone as much as possible, and that is a big part of my daily existence as much as I try to limit it. Keeping up with the news is something of an addiction in my family.

So I wanted to post something anything. It is my intention and hope to produce as much content as I can, even if it’s just diary stuff. Posting some kind of words along with some kind of pix. I look at it a bit like being a shark. I have to keep moving to stay alive. I wish I had lived up to that ideal in my past life. I spent a lot of time I would consider having not lived, but that’s something I’ll not dwell on further.

The photo pix in this blog post are all from my phone. They were all taken when doing my little layover walks I mentioned previously, trying to keep some continuity here. This is over a couple days and has some of my friends/coworkers too. I hope the live style loop pic of Larry holds up upon transfer to the WWW. It’s pretty funny.

I’m really impressed with the quality of pix phones produce at this point in time. These are from an iPhone 16e. How far technology has come in my lifetime. It boggles my mind. I can only imagine how my parents generation feel about it all. I reckon that could be a whole topic of discussion if I can maintain the resolve to explore it later. I wouldn’t bet on in though. My ADD probably wont allow it.
